Pathfinder Dwarfs make this mesh quite interesting - both teams can have up to two of these invisible little menaces...

NKI/TS do a nice decoy maneuver to draw Baak/Kaor to the Bacon so they can sneak two SpiderWights into their advancing army! With some quick teamwork, the SpiderWights aren't as devastating as they could have been - but they still do some serious damage!

Baak/Kaor lose one of their Pathfinders relatively early as it is bumped into by NKI/TS's Berzerks before it can move out of the way! Once bumped - or when they attack or are hit - you can see them and target them for further attacks...

After another even better SpiderWight maneuver by NKI/TS which really hurts Baak/Kaor's Berzerks, the game boils down to a one-on-one Pathfinder Dorf Challenge. NKI/TS get two good hits in on Baak/Kaor's Pathfinder, which makes him a bit too cautious... NKI/TS take the game.

There's just something about this map!

NKI and Baak decided to try Stampede! on one of our all-time favorite maps, Leggo My Myth (the first Leggo [Lego] Myth map).

We had to corral a bunch of Wind-Up Ducks (they are too cute!) to the center of the map. What's really funny when you play this game (or watch the film) is you hear the sound of their little wind-up motors as they waddle! LOL!!

Baak tried to rush the flag only to get hammered by NKI early. NKI got most of his ducks through the "portal" (the area around the flag where the Stampede! units "teleport" once they are close enough). But Baak managed to take out some of NKI's Ducks before they all escaped...

Then Baak pulled a sneak and maneuvered all of his Ducks completely around the map and snuck up behind NKI's Guards, while feinting several small attacks from the other side with what was left of his army. All of the Ducks teleported before the Guards knew what was happening! Great Game!!

Baak/Kaor are hurt early as they get stuck trying to retreat from the Bacon at the start. Although they do gain back some ground from their pursuers - shortly thereafter they lose their Doctor! - who seems to have wandered off on his own! lol!

There are so many great little battles in this one that you just have to watch the film to appreciate them all! This may very well be because of the way this map "plays" - lots of quick action! And don't forget the TNT!!

Although there is a brief time where Baak/Kaor actually have more units remaining, they are heavily injured - and it's just not enough to take back the Bacon from TS/NKI...

Great Game!!

OMG! What a Game!! Out of eight starting positions, NKI and Baak are right next to each other - and you know what that means! NKI and Baak go at it for quite some time, with several good mini battles. Baak manages to sneak a Dorf around to take out one of NKI's Warlocks. NKI takes his remaining Dorf army into the map to hunt for points. Meanwhile, TS is racking them up! Then while trying to dislodge a stuck ball, Baak is suddenly face-to-face with NKI's entire Dorf Army! (in fact, Baak's dislodge shot explodes two of NKI's Dorf's unexploded grenades!). Baak dodges NKI's first barrage of shots and gets one shot in before being toasted by several NKI grenades. But - it's enough to kill a couple of NKI's Dorfs which starts a HUGE cascade explosion (and I mean *HUGE*!!) that quickly takes out all of NKI's Dorfs! It's quite a sight! Dozens of flares!! But the clock is ticking!!

Baak pushes one ball back towards his home base only to be intercepted by a TS Dorf. Baak loses the exchange of mortar vs. grenade and must chase down this Dorf who now has the deciding ball! The ball is lodged at the end of the outer path and the two Dorfs launch grenades at each other. They are both standing after the first volley - but the second one kills them both!! Unfortunately for Baak, the death of TS's Dorf leaves a pile of flares by the ball which launch the ball right into TS's home base!! OMG!! GAME OVER!!!

WOW!! Check out the Opening Kick Off!! Baak sends two Rockets to the center of the map shortly after TS captures the Bacon... TS's Ghôls just nudge the Bacon into the second Rocket and ***BOOOOOOM!!!*** - watch the Bacon sail around the map at Normal Playback Speed - I swear it bounces off the edges of the overhead map! LOL!!

The Bacon ends up on the other side of the map (dang, is this a cool map, or what?). Baak almost loses all of his Warriors as they descend on the Bacon (what was he thinking?!) when two TS Dorfs nail them (and themselves!)

TS sneaks a Dorf into Baak Territory - but this little guy is jinxed! - he finally gets a Baak Dorf via the Tree Technique and then fires a couple of shots deep into Baak's Territory that *just* (and I mean *just*!) miss being devastating hits! Baak has to take this guy out with a double-Wight Whammy (to be sure the blast gets him!)

TS and Baak have a perfect one-on-one Dorf exchange ending in simultaneous deaths, followed by Baak sneaking a Dorf into TS's Territory. Although this Dorf is quite successful, Baak seems to have forgotten the object of the game is to *Steal the Bacon!* LOL!! GG!!

LOL!! The music on this map says it all... Snowmen, penguins, Dorfs that chuck snowballs - all on a snow covered Badlands map - did I mention the Christmas Trees and Santa's Sleigh?? :)

Kaor and NKI have a quick battle over one of the higher hills, resulting in 50% casualties (two Dorfs) each. Meanwhile, Baak tags the Bacon and then loses a Dorf to a single well-placed Kaor snowball. NKI does a sneak attack and takes out another Baak Dorf, but loses both of his while Kaor tags the Bacon.

Baak goes for the Bacon and pushes it all the way out of the pit, placing it on the very top of one of the hills at the edge of the pit. Baak and Kaor have a quick exchange of snowballs reducing both sides to just one Dorf...

Now it's mano y mano. Although Baak's remaining Dorf is "in the red", he has the advantage of elevation - and gets in one un-returned hit on Kaor's Dorf. Down to the last shot: both Dorf's launch their snowballs - and both hit!!

No survivors!! ... other than the Bacon! Great Game!!

Kaor and NKI wage a battle on the Southern Border early in the game. Baak snags the Bacon from the center fortress and stashes it along the shoreline of the NW fortress.

Baak fends off TS's first wave successfully, only to lose a Cannon to an auto-shot into the too-close wall while auto-targeting NKI's only remaining unit: a single Thrall!!

Baak, TS, and Kaor fight a tense battle along the shoreline - forcing a prolonged Sudden Death situation. Baak's Dorf was so busy focused on the Bacon that he forgot to fire at any enemy units! From there, Kaor's Warriors were just too much...

Great Game!!

Pathfinder Dorfs, Huge armies of Thrall, a dozen Wights, intermittent heavy rain - and the Bacon transformed into a Beach ball - what else could you want?

This game was truly hilarious, starting off with simultaneous Wight onslaughts from both Kaor and Baak against TS's Dorfs, who were desperately trying to get the Bacon away from the water in the center of the map! Kaor's Wight explosion sent the Bacon to Baak with a lucky bounce and from then on Baak was on defense. Baak's Dorf became over-zealous when maneuvering the Bacon and ended up taking it to the far NW corner of the map!

The end of the game was so funny to watch, with Kaor's Relentless Thrall tracking Baak's Dorf like The Terminator and finally capturing the Bacon when Baak's Dorf failed to fend them off!! Great Game!!
