RPG Levels
While most of the levels in The Seventh God are traditional in the sense that you accomplish your goal primarily through combat, there are two levels where this is not the case. We call these RPG levels because they play more like a role-playing game than like a battle game.
RPG levels do not have very high replay value, and they shouldn't really be done in cooperative mode because they were not designed for that. What they were designed to do is to be unique levels that are fun to explore and play through your first couple times.
In the RPG levels, you get four transformed spy units, a Goblin Warrior, a Goblin Archer, a Goblin Elite, and a Disciple.
You can explore the level and accomplish your goals by interacting with other goblins. To do this, move one of your units close to the goblin you wish to talk to, and taunt with that unit (the default taunt key is "u"). Make sure that you have moved as close as possible to be sure that you are within the talking radius.
Make sure that you have subtitles turned on in the preferences.
Your Goblin Warrior will always ask the question, "What is your position and orders?"
Your Goblin Elite will always command units to follow him.
Your Goblin Archer will always command units to stay put where they are.
Your Disciple is the critical unit. He will ask a question that will lead you to your goal. This question will change as you discover new information. For example, if your goal is to meet with the Head Disciple in the goblin camp, your question will be "Where is the Head Disciple?" If you find out where he is, but discover that you need a password to see him, your question changes to "What is the password to meet with the Head Disciple?" Your question will change several times in the course of the mission.
In RPG levels, you typically have a chain of sub-goals that will lead you eventually to your ultimate goal. Some of these can include retrieving various objects for people or assassinating certain figures that stand in the way of achieving your goal, even provoking and participating in some combat. You also have to be careful who you talk to. If you provoke the suspicions of high-ranking goblins, they can order the guards to attack you. Almost all units in the RPG levels will respond to you in some way.
We hope you enjoy them!
