Coop & Multiplayer Games

The Seventh God has some unique accomodations for cooperative play. They are listed below.

LNC SCRIPTS:

LNC stands for Legendary-No-Casualties. On most levels, if you start a cooperative game on LEGENDARY with TWO OR MORE players, you can taunt within the first 15 seconds that you have control of your troops to activate the LNC script. Once activated, getting just one casualty will cause you to lose the level.

OTHER TAUNTS:

The levels "Harvek Mountain" and "Within the Hourglass" allow you to taunt as a shortcut in cooperative games.

On "Harvek Mountain," you can skip the end cutscene. If you've seen it before, you can always 16x through it on solo, but not in coop, where it might get boring to watch it for the nth time. This will let you automatically win without sitting through it and without dropping and regathering.

On "Within the Hourglass," you can restart the level if the elven mage dies. Taunting will result in a loss at this point, so you can restart without quitting and regathering the game.

A message will appear on the bottom of the screen prompting you to taunt in both cases. Just a little something to make cooperative play more FUN.

NPC ALLIES:

"Barbarians at the Gate" allows you to gain control of some extra men when playing with 5 or more players. Two extra archers and two extra legionaries will be detached from the initially retreating NPC force.

"Harvek Mountain" allows you to have initial control of up to all the NPC allies depending on how many people are in your game. For every player above the first four players, one group will be initially detached from the NPC force to one of the extra players. Playing a coop game with 9 or more players is the only way to gain control of the "failsafe" axes on the top of the mountain.

The last level allows you to gain control of otherwise NPC allies on your flanks when playing cooperatively with 4 or more players.

You don't have to do anything special to activate this feature, as it will happen automatically on all the aforementioned levels.
