Yee Olde Saturdays

Postby Death's Avatar » Mon Aug 11, 2008 5:41 pm

Well gents, there comes a time in a man's life when he has to take a step forward. That step is asking if he can join Ooh as a guest for their saturday mythage. For those fooled by my crafty forum name, I am in fact Death's Avatar µDog!

Baak said I should throw something in for those that don't know me...hmm. Well. Uh. I… play myth… lurk about on Magma and pretend like I help them do stuff, but at least 3 independent reports show that I probably don't do anything. I'm a big fan of coop and fun-oriented play (oh yeah, I s00k). That's basically my deal anyway. So that brings us to the question:

Will you have me OoHers?!

The avatar of Death is upon us, this must be an ill omen for the future of Myth.

...or a good omen for OoH. ;)

Welcome aboard! :D

All the gritty details can be found in the Special Guest Instructions, which you should now have access to amongst some additional forums.

I'll likely be adding some maps to the Battle Plan in the next day or two by way of semi-nostalgia since this Saturday is the OoH's 8th Anniversary - yowza!

Looking forward to keeling you and being keeled by you! ;)

Remember: Red is Always bad. Think devil, evil, hell, blood. ALWAYS kill anything red first. To be safe you should also kill off any variations of red like maroon or pink or any blends that contain red - like orange, or purple as well. To be REALLY safe, go one step further on the color wheel and kill the non-red sources of the red blends like Yellow and Blue. Come to think of it, probably the only color that you DON'T need to worry about killing is the one at the opposite side of the wheel - green. So kill EVERYTHING but green, but ALWAYS kill red FIRST.

ps. I guess you could kill DARK green, that would be ok. Oh and don't forget to kill grey. Grey is a color for sneaky people you can never trust. But always kill RED first.

DA, I am most happy to see you here! I'd love to have you join us every Saturday starting at like 8PM Pacific (when I get there ;) )

Now, see, that's completely bad advice. I was about to agree with vr, too. He is right about the other colors, though.

This is a pigment of vr's imagination. The additive color wheel (which is for light, as in photography and computer monitors) has cyan as red's complement. Make sure to keel cyan.

And leave grey alone! I'm just tryin' to be neutral. I wouldn't hurt anyone.

DA. Do NOT listen to Frum, he is trying to confuse you with obscure photography techspeak that doesn't apply to the real world.

BS. You are just trying to get the edge on ball/flag games by making people think the ball/flag is contested when you actually own it.

Technically I think your grey is against OoH Rules. I might have to raise this at our next "Should we really let a cheater like Frum remain in Ooh?" meeting. Unfortunately it slipped my mind at last week's meeting, so now I have to wait another whole 2 days for the next one. :(
