Baak, take the link off the site.

A very rubbish friend who I made an admin has deleted everything. 2000 posts. 35 members. At least 100 000 words. Some from people I'll never see or hear from again. Lost.

Our new forum (uncreated atm) will have backups on an HD somewhere (Teh's comp probably).

Anyway, when we make it I predict Doug, Maccom, Mazzakazza, Ferentix, myself will post often, but we'll need some more. To get us off our feet, a few interesting people would be handy. Interested?

By the way, anyone seen MWC pools? TFS vs. BME v2? GAH!

Will do, Elfoid. Sorry to hear it was deleted - that's very lame. :(

As far as the team pairing, that's even more lame! I saw something about that on the MWC site I believe, where it mentioned putting the top ranking teams against low ranking teams.

Is it me, or does that not make any sense at all? :?

Seems like the middle teams would be fighting on near-equal ground to qualify, while the top teams would just get in by default.

Btw, anyone know how many teams have signed up?

28 teams Baak.

yeah, unless they let everyone past the QR round (like last year) it can be a short tourney the lower ranked teams. But if they do let everyone pass, at least the lower rank teams will be competiing with each other (even if they lose) point wise to get a better seed i.e. you do better then your lower ranked peers and you will face a less powerfull team in DE.

Still, it sure seems to pay off big time being a 2 or 3 trow team vs a 1 trow team.

Yeah, it seems earning our 2-trow status last time was meaningless - don't understand why that wouldn't just carry over to this year. :-s

That's because the organizers for this year's MWC are completely new and unrelated to those who handled previous MWC tourneys.

That makes some sense then. I still would think it would be easier (and more logical) to just carry over previous teams with their previous ranks. I mean, they came up with one for us because they don't know us? Oh well. :|

yeah Baak, scratching my head too. Well, we may very well be in the bottom 7 teams (which would earn us 1 trow), but it I was thinking we would be seeded better this time regardless given last year. We'll just have to prove them wrong.

Our new forum will hopefully be as good as our last one. Certainly (no offense) a little better than this ghost town of a site. Advertise more.
