MWC

Hey guys.

Every year I try to play in the Myth World Cup even though I am not a 'regular' myth player. It is a fun tournament. This year, there are a couple Packages interested in playing as well (three), which is nowhere near enough to form a suitable team for the tournament. I was wondering - hesitance of anxiety ;) - if it would be possible for us three to team with you guys? None of us are very competitive in this area and I know you guys play mostly for fun as well, nonetheless, we would attempt to lend our pitiful expertise where they may ly. I am not even positive whether or not it would be possible to add us to the team at this point? Anyways, if you could give this humble proposal some thought it would be greatly appreciated. We think we would coalesce well for this tournament. If not, no hard feelings at all; I merely wanted to see how you guys felt.

Thanks!

Heya SgtRogers,

At this point we are fielding a purely OoH Member team, but we will definitely put your name on the list for possible additions to the roster should we decide to open it up to non-OoH Members. :)

It might not mean a lot, but since OoH is a reggers group I doubt you know the WWII focussed (as a group, not individuals) Package as well as I do (I have friends in their GWs clan and have trolled their forums a bit). I can vouch for their reliabity, intelligence and honesty. How they PLAY Myth I can only imagine...

Rog, did you consider making a WWII team, with guys like Bastards?

I have no doubt whatsoever of their integrity, Elfoid. I have the highest regard for The Package and would like very much to play with them sometime.

However, that has nothing to do with the fact that until we decide otherwise, our current roster is full and only comprised of OoH Members. That could change, but I don't want people to be waiting on the possibility if they can find another team or build their own in the meantime - because it may not change. It's that simple.

The fact that we have a "closed" team in no way reflects on anyone personally - it's just the way it is right now. :)

What I meant is that if you said you'd accept non-OoH there's still a barrier to overcome. Unless you decide to let ANYONE in...

Well of course we wouldn't let just ANYONE in. They'd have to survive the most rigorous background checks - not to mention the traditional OoH Hazing Ritutals for Outsiders.

Unless... they paid us enough up front - then we could skip all that. ;)

And don't forget that background checks go more smoothly the more "processing fees" are supplied by the applicant. I know if _I_ am doing the background checks an applicant supplying copious amounts of redbull and jagermeister has never been turned down.

That can be arranged. Friends of the Package are always generously regarded. ;) 8)

Elf...didn't know you were so wired into the inner workings of OoH
I'm curious what our barrier is, clue me in please.

I took it to mean the barrier would be the conversion from WWII skills/strats/tactics to those required for reg M2 units.
