A New Glorious Frumious Wightblast!

Wellp, I grabbed me another'n last night. On Spiderweb, which has fetchies, but they didn't get me!

I didn't have much hope of it succeeding, because I began in the NW corner -- faaar from any water -- and had no control over where the ball might go. Having no water nearby and no ball, I didn't even really figure it was going to be a Frumious Wightblast kind of game. I Figured I'd have to get it and run just like anyone else.

I sent my two wights across the map via waypoints toward two ponds, though, just in case! You gotta do the "just-in-cases" or you'll never get anything.

I managed to gain control of the ball after the half, put it in the far mid-west pond (coulda just run with it, but getting the Frumious Wightblast to work is a challenge and a lot of fun), get one wight over there (from the far NE corner -- what a Trek!), and, well, do deed with it.

Stumbled across a Myth movie of a bacon game you were in Frum - I can't see which team/player tried the wightblast (though I have my suspicions) - that ended up with a non-frum-team win.

Yep, that was me, and it was one that got away. I blasted the ball toward my wight, but the soulls popped the wight as it was being blasted toward it at EXACTLY THE WRONG TIME, with the result that the ball was blown off course by the very wight that was supposed to tag it and the red guys ended up to it! It was hilarious. I have the film if you wan to see more than what ALK's video shows.

Somehow when I saw a wight waddle out of the water and just STAND there waiting for the ball to fly over his head I knew that had to be you. Who else would walk a wight BOMB well out of tagging distance from the ball in the final few seconds of the game when the ball was floating over a deep pool of water? Who would do such a thing? Only someone with ANOTHER WIGHT sitting in the pool ready to blast the ball...

Im comin after you frum. I will stay around the edges of the map and sneak up on you..............I will pull out my series-4 deatomizer and hit you with a subsonic blast..............
