A gallery of Mythers...

Talk about Myth, other games and anything else (within the rules)

TS - I was suprised Baak didn't get the Lathe reference given the conversation he mentioned. :) I _so_ pwned that one. LeGuin is one of my favorite intelligent sci-fi authors, I haven't read her in a while, I forget how good some of her stuff is - I am actually currently reading her translation of the Tao Te Ching (Lao Tzu : Tao Te Ching : A Book About the Way and the Power of the Way) - her poetic language makes for a very readable version.

Elfoid - Sorry, but I can't let you use that picture, because of a certain court order (damn corporate copywrite attorneys) all images and likenesses of me are licensed to and under the direct control of a large multinational corporation. I actually have to pay them a small fee just to use them myself.

I could though (for the right price) point you in the direction of a web page containing a lot (e.g. over 20) of pictures of old school mythers...

I could get some of my female 'entertainers' service you in exchange for this. Multiple photos are also useful - I've got a second gallery for that.

Well, I am a big fan of entertainment. (feel free to emphasize whatever word you want- by doing so you can get all kinds of meanings out of that one brief sentence)

ok, I had to dig it up from my hard drive because I couldn't find it doing a google search - so point your browser to http://www.madrigalcc.net/photo.html

In return for this valueable treasure I will of course expect either some quality entertainment, or at least loud mad propz.

I already had that link :*(

No entertainment for you VR. Know if anyone would complain if I used them? The message board is dead and when I tried to e-mail them I got no reply.

You didn't say anything about the pictures having to be *new* ones.

Regarding the issue of permission: I would post a note on playmyth and projectmagma forums to see if you can find anyone from MCC to give or deny permission. If no one responds, use your own judgement about re-using publically available images. What I did in regards to this issue for the MythGraveyard is to post on everypage a credit/source for where I found the info. eg' "This article was originally part of the Vista mapmaking group site". So far no complaints.

I e-mailed them directly and got no replies, there's posts about the gallery itself on Project Magma.net, my PlayMyth.net topic was deleted after over 150 replies as it slowly filled with spam. I think PMAs would delete a new topic there. I'll see what I can do.

I have to admit that despite my best attempts at being disturbing, TS is truly the master of disturbing icons. I bow (while never letting him quite out of my sight) to his inner disturbedness.

That current icon of his made me recoil in horror so badly, I took a picture so you could see my reaction.
