Gamer spammed the poop mail list (which I haven't had for a long long time), so logged in and yammered in the lobby for a bit. Caught Gamer and Sorm, some others. Still didn't want to play though

I've got many elaborate and complex theories about why the player base followed the trajectory that it did, but they're all bullshit so I'll keep them to myself.

My theory, people got tired of games with substance and decided to just buy a crappy one every other week or so to make up for their crapiness. And the game production companies rejoiced.

Anyone ever play The Fool's Errand in the early 90's? Text based puzzle game.
