Please note that the PlayMyth.net metaserver is online and still functioning as it always has - right now it just cannot accept new accounts as there is no way to create them.

It looks like MWC is getting ready to get fired up for 2007! I have been sent a link for those of you wanting to get started. You can go here for all of the info. News Update:
I know it's been an update since we last spoke - much has happened but things are FINALY beginning to calm down. I have the beginnings of a new PlayMyth.net web site. I will begin putting the pieces together hopefully this weekend and within a couple of weeks we may actually have a community web site back in place

Once I have the web site finished - and have ensured it's working and debugged, I am going to officially retire from the Myth Community. I've been pretty much an absentee host for a few years now anyway and I just don't see how I'm ever going to have the time like I once did. I'm realizing there are other priorities I have and need to pursue both the professional and personal things ahead. I will continue to host the site and game server until such point that I am no longer able.

It hasn't always been easy for all of us - and a lot of times we've not all gotten along. To be frank, there's been a lot of genuine disgust between certain people - but I want to say to everyone who had a hand in the Myth Community the last 5 years - Thank You. I learned a lot, I grew a lot and I'm looking forward to the road ahead.

More news on the upcoming web site as it gets closer to reality.

Thanks for the post, Frum! Funny, I checked the site last night around 3am thinking there would be something new...

Yeah, Blades has done a LOT amidst the chaos and deserves a big thank you!


Also sounds like there will be enough time for people to prep for the successor to PlayMyth if/when the day comes, which is also nice, rather than wondering if it's going to vanish at any moment.

If playmyth dies, we should all go to MariusNet. Sure, a better website would be useful...but a community divide is worse.

I wish there were a single Myth server login site that people could setup an account on that could be used at both Myth server sites.
