We're in the midst of discussions - so there's nothing definitive yet - but my feeling right now is that it's pretty likely.

Does it look like it's actually coming together (i.e. not just rumors and/or hype)? :)

If it's real, is there a limit to overall team size - both number "on the bench" and number who can play during a particular game?

I rekon ya will.

Grim's running it (he ran MWC03 and MWC04), Sioflake's probably doing site design. Wight Slayer's helping too (webscript ninja and veteran TO from many other tournaments). http://www.mwc06.com

In MWC03/04 they had 14 players, raised it to 16 after QR. MWC05 was 12, up to 14 but no one's gonna take that into account I don't think. In game you should be allowed 7 players, to allow for a neutral host if need be (not that anyone EVER uses neutrals nowadays since internet speed is higher).

Lets hope we get to play each other again, TFS vs. OoH victory rate is 1-1. We're weaker than MWC05, but stronger than MWC04 this year :)

Yeah, I figure we'll count on 12 and go from there.

That would be cool! I'm really not sure how to rate us - probably the same as last year.

Thanks for the info Elfoid! :)

Well, that's all the proof I need, that website definitely convinced me that it's not just rumors.

Not really, it just shows that there is a site with the initials 'MWC'. The '06' just indicates that the MWC is either an event OR that the site registrars wanted MWC.com (Medical World Communications) but it was already taken.

Some other things I think it could stand for:

Multiverse of Wiccan Children
Massachusetts Women and Children
Moldavian Women in Careers
Men of Whiteness Conference
Moldy Wombat Climate
Mombassa Wilderness Conference

etc.

I was going to use that, dangit! MWC, for My Web Cam dot com. Now I have to settle for MWC07.com because six other doods thought of the same thing. Dang.

Looks like you guys will have to get MWC08, etc, for all your ideas. Whew, glad I scooped up the 07 in time at least!

OH, man, I should have gotten MWC007! Wouldn't that've been cool? I could've posed for My Web Cam as Bond. James Bond.
