This is just bizarre enough to be true:

The man was wearing a "synthetic nylon jacket"? That's the problem then, I always preferred the 100% natural nylon jackets, those synthetic nylon jackets are just plain evil.

Hey no problem, I have often been told that I have an amazing grasp of the obvious and I hate to hoard my talents or deprive anyone of my insights.

I didn't know you could get synthetic nylon. Must be a lot cheaper.

It is cheaper, it's just not as durable as the organic nylon.

Did you guys know the origin of the word nylon comes from the fact that the creation of it was a collaboration of people in New York and London?

Interesting, eh? :)

It would be interesting IF it were true, which it's not.

Everyone knows it's called Nylon because it is made from ore found in meteorites from the planet Nylontia.

That was the synthetic nylon, I believe, Baak. The natural stuff is from those meteorites.

Hmmm.... nice try, but I am afraid you have merely bought into one of the government's disinformation plans.

You see there was a 'cover' story released by the one world government through it's regional branches (the USA, England, France, etc) to explain the origin of the obviously alien sounding word 'nylon' (and the obviously alien substance it referred to). Actually there were several, another rumor was that it was first created in the Nyl delta by Lon Chaney, but that one never caught on for some reason.
