Order of H'Pak

for anyone wanting to track the uptime of a website (presumably your own, though it doesn't have to be), the pingdom.com service is now offering free alerts for ONE website/IP. they send email or (limited) SMS messages if the site you signup for is down.

you can pay and do multiple sites/pages and have unlimited SMS messages, etc, but the free service is pretty nifty imo.
