Talk about Myth, other games and anything else (within the rules)

Oh, yes, there is more to Myth than traditional skills alone!

Yep...and I think that's represents OoH very well.

Sill, Dant is LRCG (or the Leet Really Cool Guys Who Are Everybody's Favorite People to Play Myth With, Men), and he's in England. Other side of the world. The time zones don't mesh. 'Course, Cheeze isn't from over there...Cheeze and Dant are two guys from Imperium who wanted to start an Imperium pmnet order a while back, but that fizzled and they made the LRCGWAEFPTPMW,M. Jungle Pickle was one at one point, too.

I just found it weird since several of their players are in North America.

Threat Assessment - tiger
Frumius is an incredibly nice, if curt with bullshit, unranked host. I enjoy coming into his games for a casual, good time. He's a decent player and should be the star of this team, if only because he's the only guy they've got that I know. [2 Balls, my edit--Frum]

w00t! OoH finally getting some respect, go frum with the representin'!

ps. I definitely want to be on Frum's team from now on.

pps. I hope this doesn't mean we have to get Frum his own dressing room for MWC06...
;)

ppss. and here I was, thinking "Playing wise, he won't be hitting heavy" was a good threat assessment. :(

I just liked the "nice" and "curt with bs" about my host.

I only got more "respect" from the TAers because they know me better. Really. That is all. Dant's of Imperium and knows me well, and I just happened to have met tiger a few months ago and have since played a bunch of games with him during that time. I feel bad that more respect wasn't dished out to my OoH mates, who in reality deserve it just as much. I think all my previous MWC TA's were disappointing like that due to not really knowing the guys doing them. But this year I got stoked up--and the only thing that changed is that the TAers know me (well, 2 of 'em do).

And now that we will be severely underestimated, let's do some keeling ;)

Of course, Baak got 5 Balls! Other teams will be doubling you, Baak!

Frum - you are without question the nicest myth player I've encountered, pretty much opposite the rude, inflammatory A-hole type. It's cool other mythers acknowledges this! You are definately above average in OoH, and that should warrent 2 balls at least.

We will use Baak's 5 balls to our advantage! Intimidation baby! LOL

As far as the rest of our TA's...we are all fairly even, the hot hand will win more games match night. If we all get 1 ball on skills with a one-liner, fine, let them underestimate us :) Actually, it's Queso's TA that does bug me a little. He is our best player by far, but no one in the community really see that. I was happy to see him get 2 balls, although it had to be with a caveat. Q's also one the nicest myther's you are going to meet.

Yeah, Frum's nice until he gives you one of those famous Frumious Enemas... ;)

5 balls! heh - well, as I recall last time I got 10 or something?!? Perhaps a tad biased? Just a tad? Dang, I tried to get Dantski in for some RDF but the whole time zone thing is rough.

They don't seem to have much granularity (geek alert!) in the low end of this scale. I mean... do they actually rate people with 4 or 6 balls? Seems like we should be in the 1-3 range mostly.

But as you say, TS, I'm happy to let them underestimate us. :)

I do think perhaps we should focus more on standard Myth for awhile. Perhaps 75-80% standard instead of our usual 25-33%. ;)

Which reminds me - I've got two people who may be joining us as Special Guests: Pyro and ducky - might be good to have the extra players for our practices as well. I suggest though that we don't give away any major OoH Secret Weapons strategy-wise - not that it matters that much - probably most important to just play more!

Perhaps 75-80% standard

75-80%...missionary...(sigh) guess I'll have to live with that, but only until Aug ;)
