As I understand time paradoxes (and I've seen every Star Trek (billions of times)), you should have it available already, having already made it in the future and come back to share it. I completely agree about the 'paradox', but as noted I am planning on coming back with the map finished (and the time machine) ON the last day of the mapmaking competition so that's why I don't have it at my disposal at the moment.

btw, sorry about not bringing it this weekend, I ended up watching the new David Lynch movie (Inland Empire) and it completely screwed up my sense of time. Will take me a few days to shake off the time distortion effect.
