PlayMyth.net is currently down. The reason for this is quite simple. I'm tired of having my server hacked and used for things it wasn't designed to be used for. I've been putting up with it for a while now and most of the time I fend it off and none of you ever know something is wrong save for a minor bump in the road.
Well I'm at the end of my rope. I've taken the server out of the data center to do what I can to make repairs to it - but at this point I'm not prepared to make any guarantees. I have a lot going on in my life right now and I just cannot dedicate the kind of time and energy into babysitting this server like I used to.
If you really, really care about this place, then perhaps it would be wise to consider being more supportive of the people who make it happen. We don't need to have our egos stroked, but on the flip side we really don't need a raft of s*** every day either.
The server will be up.... well when it gets back up. And most likely the game server will return long before the web site. Watch this page for more information - if you care.
So let's have the contingency plan of meeting at Marius.net if pmnet is still down for our games, shallwe?
