Heh - VR is talking about the expiration date for the author and OoH site(s) disappearing from the Myth Community. We're talking obscure stuff here!
Try reading what I have up there now and see if it works.
I tried to make the EULA generic so others could use it if they like it, but in the case of Triskelion I am the author so I may use "me" interchangeably with "author" below:
The purpose of the EULA is:
(1) Top priority is people playing the thing. It will be available as a download on the OoH site and/or if I decide to post to The Tain, etc. What I don't want is people posting it for downloads on other sites or posting it to The Tain without my permission. My main reason for this is version control. My secondary reason is it's my creation so it should be up to me. BUT, if I (as the author) should leave the Myth Community and not have the plugin available for download (odds are very low) THEN someone else can post it for download as long as the abide by the rest of the EULA (i.e. don't modify it without permission, take credit for it, make money off it, etc., etc., as outlined). EXCEPTION: They can archive it on CD/DVD for personal use and/or to send to their active Myth buddies, as long as they don't sell it, etc., etc.
(2) Similarly, no one is allowed to extract original material created by the author without permission, and then give credit if used. Basic stuff. BUT, if the author/OoH is gone and doesn't have someone they've given the project to as caretaker who would be in charge of such decisions THEN they can extract stuff for use as long as they give appropriate credit and don't make any money off it.
That's the nutshell.
